Diya Foundation was born from a simple, powerful belief: that every child, no matter their background, deserves a chance to dream, learn, and thrive. Established in 2014 by Sundar Sethuraman, we are a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States and proudly hold 80G status in India.
Our mission is to empower children from underprivileged families with quality education, while creating meaningful employment opportunities for their loved ones — because uplifting one life uplifts an entire community.
Over the years, Diya Foundation has touched the lives of thousands of individuals across India. From building essential infrastructure in rural schools to establishing computer labs, sponsoring children’s education, and providing humanitarian aid during times of crisis, our initiatives have created lasting, meaningful change. We believe in the power of collective action to uplift communities and bring hope where it’s needed most.
